MS?Dhoni to start training for IPL 2020 from March 2

Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni will start his training here from March 2 along with other players ahead of season-13 of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The 38-year old Dhoni, whose future in the game has been a subject of intense speculation since the ICC 50-over World Cup in June-July last year, will start training at the M A Chidambaram stadium for the upcoming IPL.

Former Indian cricket team skipper Rahul Dravid’s son Samit Dravid continued his brilliant run of form as he scored another century to guide Mallya Aditi International School to the semi-finals of the BTR Shield Under-14 Group I, Division II Tournament. Samit, who recently scored two double centuries in three months, scored 166 runs off 131 balls thanks to 24 boundaries to continue his impressive form. He also took four wickets for 35 runs as Vidyashilp Academy were beaten by a massive margin. Mallya Aditi International School posted an imposing total of 330 for five from their allotted 50 overs and in reply, Vidyashilp Academy could only manage to score 182 in 38.5 overs.

Two men on bike snatch mobile phone in Manesar

Gurugram: Two unidentified men on a motorcycle allegedly snatched a mobile phone from a 23-year-old man near Rockland hospital in Manesar. When the man began chasing the snatchers, one of them allegedly pulled out a countrymade gun to threaten him, the police said on Tuesday.
